New Writer 2026: EmmaClaire Brightlyn - Scottish Book Trust

Originally from Canada, EmmaClaire (she/her) has spent the past 15 years making Scotland her home. She is an award winning spoken word artist and was the 2024 Loud Poets Grand Slam Champion. Her work often voices the churning experience of matrescence, and the joy and terror of living with a small girl shaped dragon.
